Q&A

What do you love most about radio?

I love being able to connect with people in their homes, cars, anywhere... being a companion to listeners, sharing amazing news and stories and always learning and growing, I also love the adrenaline of being live on air.

How long have you been on radio?

I’ve been on radio since the beginning of 2011 – 10 years!

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Baking and watching films and series

What knowledge do you love imparting onto your listeners?

The news, of course.  And the latest and coolest new films and series to look out for – especially highlighting our local talent and supporting our film and TV industry.  I also try to encourage others to be open minded, kind and understanding of each other.  I believe in it very strongly, and hope it’s something listeners can take from me.

What daily motivation do you believe contributes to your success over the airwaves daily?

To aim to always inspire others, and be proud of yourself and what you’ve done at the end of the day.  Getting up and doing your job well, no matter what, even when you’re having a bad day.

What has been your favourite moment on radio, any campaign you can share and why did you love it so much, what did you enjoy most about working with said brand?

I have absolutely loved sharing our 5Drive travels on air.  The Heritage Tour and the Africa Tour have been incredible opportunities to see new places, and open our eyes to our beautiful country and continent, and share all the amazing history, people and beauty that's out there!
