5 Mid-Mornings, Mon. - Fri., 09:00 - 12:00
Proud Capetonian, DJ Stephanie B, is not only taking over the airways but is also an avid petrol head, soccer enthusiast and loves discussing topics one would feel awkward talking about with their parents. Stephanie B got her start in radio at Community Radio Station MFM 92.6 in Stellenbosch while she was studying at the University. After a couple of years of grafting, and club DJ-ing all over Stellenbosch and Cape Town, she got her first big break at Mother City radio station Good Hope FM and has done everything from the Top 30 Chart Show, Weekend Breakfast, and a Dance music show with live DJs.

Synopsis of the show
Listeners are in for compelling and honest conversations with plenty of feel-good moments thrown in for good measure. It's also the place where you will hear the most interesting interviews with interesting people coupled with great music – it promises to be fun and funny.
What do you love most about radio?
The ability to express myself freely, and have a creative outlet that connects me to people all over South Africa. I genuinely feel like I’m friends with every single one of my listeners. We learn from each other, we laugh together, we get deep and it builds a sense of community.
How long have you been on radio?
Since I was a teen! I haven’t ever really known anything other than radio.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I’m a hobby photographer, and I love learning more about the skill. I spend a lot of time outdoors; hiking, camping and just generally exploring. I have loads of different passions, so I’m never bored.
What knowledge do you love imparting onto your listeners?
I like my listeners to know that they’re never alone! I’m a mental health advocate, and always aim to provide a safe space for anyone who tunes in. I want everyone to know that they’re loved, and that there will always be a place for them on my show.
What daily motivation do you believe contributes to your success over the airwaves daily?
The willingness to always learn and improve. I’ll never stop trying to better myself and my show.
What has been your favourite moment on radio, any campaign you can share and why did you love it so much, what did you enjoy most about working with said brand?
That would have to be the Discovery competition we ran earlier in the year! I managed to make such a huge difference in a number of people’s lives with extra cash. Especially during a time where the country was really suffering after a year of the pandemic wreaking havoc on a lot of businesses and careers.
