SOUTH AFRICA’S FAVOURITE ROAD TRIP: 5FM’S 5 DRIVE HERITAGE TOUR TO SHOWCASE BEST OF SA THIS SEPTEMBER



1 September 2022, Johannesburg - The 5 Drive Heritage Tour 2022, proudly supported by Suzuki, brings back Nick Hamman and the team as they embark on an epic Heritage Month journey from 5 to 30 September, showcasing the best that South Africa has to offer.

 

The team will visit destinations across 9 provinces and discover amazing places, hidden gems, people, food, art and activities – doing community activations, interviews and sharing stories that celebrate the richness of the cultural pot that makes South Africa truly remarkable. Sight-seeing tours, surfing lessons, paintball, fly fishing lessons and various other activities will also make up part of the activities undertaken.

 

The 5 Drive Team will be visiting the following destinations along the way:

 

5 September: Magaliesburg and the Cradle of Humankind, Gauteng

6 September: Potchefstroom, North West

7 September: Bloemfontein and the University of the Free State, Free State

8 September: Kimberley, Northern Cape

9 September: Carnavon and the SKA Project, Northern Cape

12 September: Cape Town and UCT, Western Cape

13 September: Helderberg, Western Cape

14 September: Hermanus, Western Cape

15 September: Arniston and Arniston Hotel, Western Cape

16 September: George, Western Cape

19 September: East London and Hudson Park High, Eastern Cape

20 September: Mthata and Mandela Park, Eastern Cape

21 September: Port Shepstone and Wild 5 Adventures, KwaZulu-Natal

22 September: Durban and UKZN, KwaZulu-Natal

23 September: Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal

26 September: Mbombela, Mpumalanga

27 September: Mokhado, Limpopo

28 September: Polokwane, Limpopo

29 September: Pretoria, Gauteng

30 September: Johannesburg, Gauteng
