Miseducation is a teen comedy-drama that follows Mbali Hadebe, a young, self-absorbed, first-year varsity student who, after her mother is unceremoniously exposed as a corrupt politician, escapes the judgement of her usually glossy, big city world in Johannesburg, and seeks a fresh start in a small, dreary, university, in the sleepy small town of Makhanda.
