The 5 Breakfast Heritage Tour has been a whirlwind three weeks of travelling across South Africa's 9 provinces, as we celebrate Heritage Month!
In the final stretch of the tour, the #5Breakfast team met Oriental Plaza legend Yusaf “Chubb” Garda, who read a beautiful poem that sums up the soul of Johannesburg. The team explored some of the amazing food our country has to offer, visiting Midrand for some local cuisine by Chef Andile Somdaka, who used to cook for Madiba himself! They also visited Yoeville Dinner club on the iconic Rockey Street in Yeoville for an inspiring Bohemian chat with Sanza Da Fanatic.
They finished the tour off in a full-circle moment, we head to Soweto for a bike tour run by “Book iBhoni” where our own Xoli Zondo learns to ride a bike for the first time in her hometown!
